Where To Go Boating In Wisconsin Summer 2017
Whether your name is Gilligan or you are new to the boating scene, you probably noticed that Wisconsin is full of water. Everywhere you look, you will find a place to launch your boat. What a great deal for boaters! However, with so many options, it can be difficult know where to bring your boat for the first time. Team Winnebagoland is here to help!
Team Winnebagoland is located on the very north corner of Oshkosh WI and this geographical characteristic is no accident! Lake Winnebago is more than 250 square miles across and bridges the gap between Oshkosh, Fond Du Lac, Appleton, and other great cities in Wisconsin. Lake Winnebago is the largest lake in the state. Our county, and OUR STORE, is named after it! Whether you are fishing, wakeboarding, or looking for a beach to anchor at, Lake Winnebago is a sure win.
Lake Butte des Morts
On the other side of Oshkosh lies Lake Butte des Morts. It is a pond in comparison to Lake Winnebago, but it is a great place to get some rays and open the throttle on your Yamaha AR190 all in the same day.
Wisconsin Chain O’Lakes
If the name doesn’t sound familiar, you probably aren’t from the area. Wisconsin Chain O’Lakes is famous for clear water and endless boating opportunities across 22 different bodies of water. From Oshkosh, just head north! If you have any questions about the best places to go boating in Wisconsin for 2017, leave a comment below!
